Control C is a game to explore concepts created by social media… an immediate connectivity and the permanent tracking system fought by three teams in a style that’s more like a JASON BOURNE film. It’s a game but it’s also an action film. Each team has four contestants: one fugitive, one hunter and one virtual operator (tracker) and one virtual traitor (informant). The fugitive, if captured, is replaced by a new one. If they survive, they stay in the game and will be hunted by another team.
In a public place around town (a mall, a stadium, a ball…), the fugitive carrying a phone with GPS connected to a social media has their location tracked by the virtual operator (in a mini studio, a monitoring center). The tracker will text the information to the hunter, in the same location, who has to track them. At the same time, the informant, operating from the same center, has three “agents” connected by text at a location that could confuse and slow down the hunter (a beautiful woman, a child, someone looking for information, etc…).
The fugitive’s phone, which is always on, forwards images captures by the camera that helps the hunter. The images are studied by the tracker, who’s in possession of the of the local blueprint, and the tracker researches the network and passes the new fugitive location information to the hunter… or they lose the game.
A film crew follows the hunter in a public site and another one transmits images of the tracker from inside the monitoring center… the image, always transmitted from the device in the fugitive’s possession, completes the three points of view. Each game is comprised of three teams… three fugitives in three universes. The game ends when the hunter puts the fugitive on a worldwide transmission through the camera on their phone. Whichever team puts their fugitive on the air first, wins… The fugitives who survive move on to the following stage surviving a while longer… they will be hunted by another team once again.
There are five rounds and, therefore, five individual shows with a beginning and an end, but together they will determine a global score and the winning team. The CONTROL C GAME winning team will be whichever team collects the most victories in all five shows, BUT… if a fugitive survives them all, it is the fugitive who will win A MASTER PRIZE, eliminating all three winning hunting teams. In case of a draw, we then refer to POPULAR vote on the web… “vote on the hunt you considered to be the most thrilling…”
CONTROL C… once the game starts… REBOOTING is impossible…
