Harassed is a short film based on a short story by Fernando Sabino (The Naked Man), who was part of an ambitious media project, merging fiction and product placement.
It was shown in 100 screens (predominantly placed in shopping centers), for a month, before the movie that was showing, where every action is combined into products of existing stores in that mall.
The plot is told without diverging from the normal cinematographic narrative, but upon exiting the movie theater, a poster would inform the viewer every element in production, store and cost.
This way, an easy financing format was built for material of important cultural content and its distribution was equally guaranteed in the entire Brazilian territory. The cast is stellar within the Brazilian cinematography, where famous actors had cameos. The main character is Carlos Moreno, one of the most famous and long-living spokespeople in Brazilian advertising.
